Walking in Holiness
Holiness is not just a lofty goal; it is a divine mandate for all who follow Christ. To be holy means to be set apart, reflecting God’s character in every aspect of life. 1 Peter 1:15-16 reminds us that holiness is not an option but a command.
Holiness impacts how we think, speak, and act. It is about living a life pleasing to God, free from sin, and empowered by His Spirit. While striving for holiness may seem challenging in a world filled with distractions and temptations, God provides the strength and guidance we need.
The Role of Purity
Living a life of purity is foundational to holiness. Psalm 119:9-11 reminds us that guarding our way with God’s Word keeps us on the path of righteousness. Purity in thought, word, and deed requires intentionality and daily surrender.
