Prayer of the Day
Heavenly Father, thank You for giving me Your Word—not just as instruction, but as a personal love letter. Help me to approach the Bible with fresh eyes and an open heart. May I hear Your voice through it, grow in intimacy with You, and be transformed by its truth. Amen.
Scriptures of the Day
Psalm 22:22–31 – A psalm that ends in victory: “He has done it!”
Mark 3:31–4:29 – Jesus invites us into His family and teaches the power of the Word.
Exodus 23:1–24:18 – God calls His people into covenant and justice, foreshadowing the new covenant in Christ.
Short Devotion: Your Love Letter
Before there were phones, loved ones who were apart wrote letters daily. The paper itself wasn’t valuable—but who wrote it made it precious.
That’s how we should see the Bible. It’s not just a book—it’s a love letter from God. It reveals His heart, His plans, and above all, it reveals Jesus. As Jesus said, “These are the very Scriptures that testify about me” (John 5:39).
In Psalm 22, we see the suffering of Jesus, but it ends with triumph: “He has done it!” (v.31). In Mark, Jesus calls us not just followers but family. He shows us how God’s Word changes hearts like seeds that grow and multiply. And in Exodus, we witness the beauty of covenant—God drawing near to His people, just as He now draws near through Jesus.
Through Scripture, God speaks personally and powerfully. Every time we open it, we’re invited into His presence.
Takeaway
You are deeply loved – Every word in Scripture flows from the heart of a God who longs for relationship with you.
You are invited closer – Through His Word, God draws you into deeper intimacy, not just obedience.
You are part of His story – From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible points to Jesus—and Jesus invites you into His unfolding plan.

Question for Reflection
Do you approach Scripture expecting to encounter Jesus—or just to learn information? How might your time in the Word change if you saw it as a personal message from Him each day?
