Day 46

Prayer of the Day:

Lord, thank You that in the highs and lows of life, You are always with me. Help me to trust in You during difficult times and to rely on Your strength in every season. May I grow in faith, walk in Your authority, and experience Your victory. Amen.

Scriptures of the Day:

📖 Psalm 22:4–5 – "In You our ancestors put their trust; they trusted and You delivered them. To You they cried out and were saved; in You they trusted and were not put to shame."

📖 Mark 1:11–12 – "And a voice came from heaven: ‘You are my Son, whom I love; with You I am well pleased.’ At once the Spirit sent Him out into the wilderness."

📖 Exodus 17:11 – "As long as Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were winning, but whenever he lowered his hands, the Amalekites were winning."

The Highs and Lows of Life

Life is full of both spiritual highs and deep valleys. Looking back on my journey, I have experienced great moments of joy—seeing prayers answered, lives transformed, and the presence of God moving powerfully. Yet, there have also been seasons of difficulty—times of grief, exhaustion, and trials.

Scripture reveals that these highs and lows are often connected.

Trust in the Midst of Suffering

Psalm 22 foreshadows Jesus’ suffering on the cross. He cried out, “My God, my God, why have You forsaken me?” (Psalm 22:1, Matthew 27:46). Yet even in that moment, Jesus trusted in God. His suffering led to the greatest victory—His resurrection.

When you walk through trials, know that suffering does not have the final word. God’s victory will come—keep trusting Him.

Authority Through Battles and Blessings

Jesus experienced both great spiritual highs and intense battles. At His baptism, He heard God affirming Him: “You are my Son, whom I love; with You I am well pleased” (Mark 1:11). Yet immediately afterward, the Spirit led Him into the wilderness, where He faced temptation (Mark 1:12–13).

Often, after a powerful encounter with God, challenges arise. If you have experienced His presence, do not be surprised if doubts, temptations, or difficulties follow. But just as Jesus emerged with great authority, God is preparing you for what’s ahead.

Pray and Act to Turn Lows into Highs

Moses faced opposition, exhaustion, and battles. Yet, God provided support. When Moses grew weary, Aaron and Hur lifted up his hands, ensuring victory (Exodus 17:12–13). Later, his father-in-law, Jethro, advised him to delegate leadership, preventing burnout (Exodus 18:17–23).

God’s design is not for us to carry burdens alone. Surround yourself with people who encourage you in faith. Learn to rely on God’s wisdom and delegate where needed.

💡 Takeaway:

🔹 Trust God even in suffering—He will bring victory.

🔹 Spiritual highs are often followed by battles—stand firm in faith.

🔹 Lean on God and others for strength—don’t carry burdens alone.
