End of March Fasting & Prayer - Day 1

Theme: Unleashed into New Beginnings

Focus Scriptures: 

• John 2:19 – "Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days."  

• Isaiah 43:19 – "For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland."  

• Psalm 100:4 – "Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name."

Unleashed into New Beginnings  

Fasting is not just about sacrifice - it’s about transformation. Jesus spoke of tearing down and rebuilding, a picture of what God wants to do in our lives. As we fast, we let go of old habits and open ourselves to a new work of the Holy Spirit.

God is in the business of renewal. He is calling us to leave behind anything that hinders us - jealousy, fear, doubt, or sinful patterns - and embrace His fresh grace. This is a season of purification and preparation. Believe that in these three days, chains will break, minds will renew, and hearts will be revived.

Prayer points:

• Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name for all His goodness, mercies and kindness during the month of March - Ps. 100:4

• Thank the Lord for another opportunity to go deeper with God through these 3 days of fasting and prayer - Jer. 29:12, Jer. 33:3

• Confess your sins, shortcomings, weaknesses, addictions and struggles to the Lord especially those signs that keep letting you down and holding you back -1. Jh. 1:8-9

• Everything in us the Heavenly Father has not planted must be destroyed by fire in these 3 days; jealousy, envy, backbiting, anger, sexual immorality, judgemental attitude, negative/limiting belief etc. - Mat. 5:13

• Ask the Lord to purge you and make you more like Jesus; to take away the old appetites and replace it with something new and unique !!! To change your story in these 3 days and give you fresh grace to walk in purity in Jesus Name! - Eph. 5:1, 1. Pet. 1:16

• Pray for Saturday’s Evangelism that the seeds we sow will fall on good ground and many will experience a New beginning as we share the gospel 

• Present your personal needs before the Lord in faith - Phil. 4:6

• Give thanks to God for answered prayer

💡 Takeaway:  

- Expect Renewal: God is doing a new thing - watch for it!  

- Surrender the Old: Let go of habits and struggles that hold you back.  

- Walk in Faith: Trust God’s power to transform your life completely.
