Prayer of the Day:
Lord, thank You for the life-changing power of Your Word. Help me to treasure it as more precious than gold and sweeter than honey. As I read, let Your wisdom guide me, Your truth transform me, and Your promises sustain me. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to You, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. Amen.
Scriptures for your Day:
Psalm 19:7–14: The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul; the statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple.
Matthew 26:47–68: “This has all taken place that the writings of the prophets might be fulfilled” (v.56).
Exodus 6:13–8:32: “Moses and Aaron did just as the Lord commanded them” (Exodus 7:6).
Life-Changing Words
The Bible is not just a book of information; it is God’s continual communication with us. Jesus said, “People do not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4).
David, in Psalm 19, describes God’s Word as perfect, pure, and precious. It transforms lives by:
Reviving the soul (Psalm 19:7).
Giving wisdom (Psalm 19:7).
Bringing joy (Psalm 19:8).
Providing guidance (Psalm 19:8).
Jesus modeled trust in God’s Word even in His greatest trial. Betrayed by Judas, abandoned by His friends, and falsely accused, He clung to Scripture, knowing that everything was happening to fulfill God’s plan (Matthew 26:54, 56).
Moses also obeyed God’s Word, even in the face of Pharaoh’s stubbornness and opposition. His obedience, though challenging, allowed God to demonstrate His power and faithfulness (Exodus 7:6).
💡 Takeaway:
Treasure God’s Word: Let it transform and guide you daily.
Trust God’s Plan: Even in trials, rely on His promises.
Obey God’s Call: Step out in faith, knowing He equips you for the task.
Question for Reflection:
How can you trust and apply God’s Word in the challenges you are facing today?
