Prayer Of The Day:
Lord, help me to trust in Your power rather than my own strength. Give me faith to believe that with You, nothing is impossible. I surrender my challenges, my future, and my life into Your hands. Amen.
With God, All Things Are Possible
Is anything truly impossible for God? When we face seemingly insurmountable challenges—whether in relationships, finances, health, or faith—Jesus reminds us that with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). This goes beyond positive thinking; it is about trusting in the power of God to make the impossible possible.
Scriptural Foundations & Key Messages
Through Jesus, the Universe Was Created (Proverbs 3:11–20)
The ultimate proof that nothing is impossible with God is creation itself. By His wisdom, He laid the earth’s foundations, set the heavens in place, and established the universe (Proverbs 3:19–20).
• The writer of Proverbs personifies wisdom (vv.13–18), and through the lens of the New Testament, we understand that this wisdom is Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 1:24).
• Until we have a relationship with Jesus, life does not fully make sense. Through Him, all things were made (John 1:3).
• True wisdom and understanding come from knowing Him, and this wisdom leads to a life of blessing, peace, and eternal security (Proverbs 3:13–18).
Application: Seeking Jesus is the key to living a wise, fulfilling, and peaceful life. In Him, we find the source of wisdom and the power to overcome challenges.
What Is Impossible for Man Is Possible with God (Matthew 19:16–30)
Jesus’ words in Matthew 19:26—“With God, all things are possible”—come from His conversation with the rich young ruler. The man desired eternal life but was unwilling to give up his wealth to follow Jesus.
• Jesus explains that it is humanly impossible for the rich to enter the kingdom of God. Wealth and status provide no advantage—rather, they can become obstacles (vv.23–24).
• Some have tried to soften Jesus’ statement by suggesting the “eye of a needle” was a small gate or a mistranslation of the word “camel” as “rope.” But Jesus’ point is clear: Salvation is impossible by human effort alone.
• Yet, with God, salvation and transformation are possible for anyone who places their trust in Him (v.26).
Application: No one can save themselves, but through faith in Jesus, even the hardest hearts can be transformed. If we surrender what holds us back, we gain infinitely more in return (v.29).
In Your Life, Nothing Is Impossible with God (Job 8:1–10:22)
Job’s suffering raises difficult questions about pain, injustice, and the silence of God. His friend Bildad offers simplistic explanations, but Job wrestles honestly with his suffering.
• Job acknowledges that God’s wisdom is beyond human understanding: “His miracle-surprises can’t be counted” (Job 9:10, MSG).
• Despite his despair, Job clings to what he knows about God: “You gave me life itself, and incredible love” (Job 10:12, MSG).
• In the end, God restores Job and blesses him even more than before (Job 42:12).
Application: Even when we do not understand our suffering, we can trust that God’s wisdom and power are at work. His love sustains us, and His purposes will be fulfilled.
Overall Takeaway
• God’s power is not limited by human understanding or circumstances. He created the universe; He can work in your life too.
• Salvation is impossible by human effort, but completely possible through faith in Jesus.
• When we surrender to God, He gives us far more than we give up.
• Even in suffering, we can trust that God’s wisdom, power, and love will see us through.
